Down-Ballot Boost

Down-Ballot Boost is our initiative to provide seed funding and free access to campaign resources for down-ballot candidates. We aim to lower barriers to entry, increase competitiveness in local races, and ensure every race is contested.

Qualifying campaigns can receive up to $2,500 in cash grants as well as fundraising templates, guides, and even mentorship from experienced campaign experts.

Who qualifies

  • First-time or underfunded candidates running for local office (non-federal).

  • Candidates aligned with progressive values (if applicable).

  • Committed to using funds for voter contact (mail, digital ads, canvassing).

    • Fundraising templates (email scripts, call sheets).

    • Digital ad guides (Meta, Google, TikTok).

    • Voter contact tools (canvassing scripts, phone bank SOPs).

  • Optional Add-ons:

    • 1-hour strategy call with a past winning candidate.

    • Discounted access to vendors (mailers, graphic designers).
